Warranty Period

Teutonia warrants to the purchaser that the goods will be delivered in an undamaged condition.
The customer has the obligation to check the delivered goods for any damage before signing the delivery docket.
Only sign the section “received in good order and condition” if this is correct.


Teutonia warrants to the purchaser that the goods will be free of any defect in workmanship and materials.
Teutonia provides a warranty on parts and labour against faulty workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase to the original purchaser. This is subject to the equipment being installed correctly and used correctly in conjunction with the manufacturers’ instructions. Liability under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing a unit, at our direction, without charge. The warranty covers all components within the equipment housing but doesn’t include light bulbs, fittings, glass, lids, consumable items and dough hooks. Generally, all goods claimed under this warranty must be returned to Teutonia for inspection. Under no circumstances shall Teutonia be liable for any loss, damage or expense directly or indirectly arising from use or inability to use the equipment or from any other cause. Warranty will only be granted if the terms of payment have been fulfilled.

Warranty Procedures

  1. In the event that warranty repair is required we are here for you.

  2. Do not seek to organize repair of the equipment yourself. A warranty claim will only be accepted if authorized by Teutonia prior to the commencement of service.

  3. Please contact Teutonia by phone (09-436 2348), fax (09-436 2347) or email (info@teutonia.co.nz) and report the fault. The Model No., Serial No. and a description of the problem must be supplied.

  4. Teutonia will advise whether the claim is accepted and covered under warranty. For warranty repair, please ship your product to us or to the advised nearest service agent. Considered “built in” equipment will be repaired on site, if possible. The work to be carried out will be given by Teutonia to the service agent.

  5. Teutonia will endeavor to deal with claims urgently, but does not guarantee that any service to be performed under this warranty will be carried out within any particular time limit.
